David Schwartzkopf - Turning Liabilities Into Assets

David received the Disabled American of the Year in 1990 from President George H.W. BushDavid Schwartzkopf is making his expertise available to you.  His creativity has helped people with disadvantages enter the workforce, his speeches have inspired management to rethink their hiring practices, and his consulting has helped to bring about equal opportunities.

As a motivational speaker Dave delivers an inspirational message.

Bill Weimer, retired IBM Director of Technical Education and author of several books on corporate culture, has the following remarks about his speaking ability:

When I first heard Dave Schwartzkopf give a talk, I was in agony for the first minute or two. He tends to “seize up” in his speech, due to his handicap, every few words, and sometimes words are slurred. I thought the next hour would be very long. But, somehow Dave has a way, in his presentations, to remove those problems very quickly. I think it’s a combination of a good sense of humor, the ability to make light of himself, and the ability to make himself clearly understood very early in his  presentations. He always has a real and serious message. He presents it well, although it requires a bit longer for him to do so than most speakers…maybe ten percent longer.

So, that’s who Dave is as a public speaker: Two minutes of agony, a bit longer getting his points made than most, and always a strong message told with wonderful humor. The result is definitely worth the price. And, after you have heard him the first time, the two minutes of agony at the beginning is gone, never to return.

Sincerely,

Bill Weimer

Should you have a need for an individual who has dealt with disadvantages and succeeded far beyond expectations, Dave Schwartzkopf is the one!
